Building the Atelier Varga identity
Atelier Varga started as a working name on a single page of notes. Turning it into an identity meant deciding what the studio refuses to do as much as what it offers, and letting that restraint set the tone for everything that followed.
The visual system leans on two voices: a geometric grotesk for the interface and an editorial serif for the writing. Keeping them strictly separated — one for structure, one for argument — gives every page the same reading rhythm without a rulebook.
The palette is deliberately narrow. Near-black, warm paper, and a single red accent used sparingly enough that it still means something when it appears. Photography carries the colour; the interface stays out of its way.
